Prayer Group

Christ Sanctuary was birthed by prayer and will, by God's grace, continue to grow and fulfil God's purpose for her through the prayers of the people. It is the desire of the leadership to make prayer the lifeline of the ministry.

In the past year, we saw God's answer to our prayers in His generous provision for the various crucial needs of our new church.

Prayer takes place not only on Sunday mornings at 9am, but at every opportunity: in groups, in homes, at leadership and trustee meetings, in the worship service, ministry after church and wherever else prayer is needed.

We have a group of prayer ushers whose task is to "usher" individuals needing ministry into God's presence through prayer. They are also rostered on Sunday mornings to pray during the service.

Days of prayer and fasting are scheduled into the church calendar a few times a year.

We want to pray more and we also want to see God answer and grow us to a deeper level of praying. We desire Christ Sanctuary to be a House of Prayer.
