Kids

The Kids Ministry began a year ago with three 7-11 year olds. During the year it grew to about 12 kids. Since then we have lost some kids and teachers through them leaving the city.

We have a great team of willing teachers and helpers who, with the aid of a Bible-based resource (Kids @ Church), are helping the kids learn about God in fun and creative ways. The children are encouraged to find their way through the Bible, using a contemporary, easy-to-understand version. Learning about the different aspects of prayer, enjoying "Veggie Tales" and playing outdoors are some things the kids do.

Our desire and responsibility is to help and nurture each child to know God intimately and to understand that their prayers do make a difference! We love to grow kids who pray.
